Revision: U2: LO1 + LO2 - January 2020

(1a) Client requirements

1) App needs to be easy to navigate

2) Suitable for all genders

3) Unique selling point

4) Has a shopping cart and payment plan

5) User can upload their own photos

(1b) One problem that may occur could be that the navigation system could be over complicated meaning that the user may not be able to use the app easily.

The deadline of 12 weeks may not be enough time for the project to be completed meaning they may to be able to meet the deadline.

(2) One method that Stephen could get audience feedback could be through primary research methods, for example he could use a small testing group of people to analyse the product for the design ideas and get their feedback on it. (focus group of the target audience)

Another method he could use is through social media survey/poll for there is the young people that use social media which is the audience, you can also collect more information from a wider range for an audience.

Another method that could be used could be a questionnaire for they are targeted for specific questions and easy to distribute.

One more method that could be used could be via interviews for you can pick the person that is interviewed meaning more detailed questions can be asked.

(3) One example of a method to get information on the interactive features of the apps would be by interviewing an app developer/ specialist.

Another method could be a content analysis of interactive apps.

They could also be a watch, observation of the target audience using the apps.

(4a) One element of a visualisation diagram would be the location of the navigation bar needed to make the app easy to navigate, this would be important for a client requirement is for there to be easy navigation with the fonts of the writing and the clear icons.

Another element of the visualisation diagram Aurora would need to consider would be the location of the shopping cart for the user to see and use for that would be an important element for the app to require.

The third element that would be needed to be included would be the colours on the app to make the app appeal to the target audience creating a house style.

On the visualisation diagram there would have to be annotations included to explain how the requirements have been met.

The layout of the images would also need to be included on the diagram so then they can be checked to make sure they are not offensive and also can get the images prepared for the app when designing it, we can source and plan the assets needed for the production.

(4b) One pre-production document that Marcus could use could be an wireframe for it plans where the interactive elements of the app are and what they have to press.

Another pre-production document could be a prototype would be good for it shows how it can be used and it can be given for testing.

A site map can be used for it shows the structure of the app and what's in it.

(5a) One legal constraint could be the fact that people are putting their details into the app meaning they will have to be terms and conditions attached and copyright laws for the image may not belong to the person/ restrictions connected. There would also have to be a data protection act because there could be peoples personal data leaked. Cyberbullying would also be an issue if not careful.

(5b) To resolve the issue of data protection act would be to not post people addresses or names to avoid a personal data being stolen or stalked, this could be avoided by putting accounts on private so then people can't search peoples names.

Ethical issues are to do with society and people being offended, it protects people from offence, upholding morals.

(6) One ethical issue that Aurora needs to consider would be offending people with different ethnicity's and race to be considered this is because all cultures need to be catered for so they can use the app properly.

Another ethical issue could be the representation of genders, this means the all clothing would have to be accounted for and in the persons identity to be multiple genders are catered for to avoid offending anyone.
