- Work plans: Advantages- organised makes following tasks easier, planning allows flexibility, provides motivation and commitment, provides a guide of action. Disadvantages- inhibits creativity, time consuming, false sense of security. 

- Mind maps: good way to mix multiple list types, good way to take quit notes in a meeting, good way to visualise complex tasks. Disadvantages-
